Lani Rose Matthews and James Wright Ramsden were married Sunday, April 1, in Jekyll Island, Ga. The couple, both formerly of Port Aransas, now reside in Spicewood. The outdoor wedding was held under oak trees by the beach. She is a 1999 graduate of Port Aransas High School and currently a veterinarian in Marble Falls. He is an officer in the Merchant Marine. The bride is the daughter of Mary Jo Matthews and the late Paul Matthews of Port Aransas. The groom is the son of Thomas and Carol Ramsden of Lake Ronkonkoma, Long Island, N.Y.
