PAHS hosts tourney
      Port Aransas High School tennis players warmed up for the regional tournament by hosting a regional qualifiers tournament here on Saturday, April 21. Players from 18 other cities as nearby as Rockport and as far away as Mason competed. The PAHS netters began the regional tournament yesterday, Wednesday, April 25, in Brenham. It will conclude today, Thursday, April 26.

Marlins seek attitude change for final diamond appearance
      Things didn't go the Marlins' way when they took to the diamond on Friday and Saturday, April 20 and 21. They lost a home game to Charlotte on Friday, 1-20, and went on the road to Pettus where they were handed a 2-16 loss.
