Travelers on State Hwy 361 between Beach Access Road 1A in Port Aransas and Park Road 22 in Corpus Christi will have a long wait before the 18-mile stretch sees any expansion. TxDOT officials have yet to determine the most feasible method for expansion, much less determine a funding option.
