NOEL ARZOLA Noel Arzola, 45, died Friday, March 16, 2007. He was a lifelong resident of Port Aransas.

Arzola was born Dec. 29, 1961, in Aransas Pass, to Pedro L. and Esther Arzola.

He was the first graduate of the first graduating class of Port Aransas High School in May 1980.

Arzola worked all his life in the family business, the Island Café. He was instrumental in building the first café and the new building where the café is presently located.

Arzola loved the beach and fishing.

His father preceded him in death in 1986.

Arzola is survived by the mother of his children, Maria A. Hernandez; three sons, Noel (Kasey) Arzola, Joseph (Rebecca) Arzola, both of Aransas Pass and Alex James Arzola of Missouri; a daughter, Toni (Jon Marton) Marie Arzola of Aransas Pass; his mother, Esther Arzola of Port Aransas; a brother, Pete (Dora) Arzola of Port Aransas and eight grandchildren.

A Rosary was recited Tuesday, March 20, at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. A Me- morial Mass was celebrated Wednesday, March 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Aransas. Interment was private.
