Gloria Fric, also known as the Dragon Lady, spent two weeks on the beach in Port Aransas with a group of 14 who were practicing their skills for the upcoming SandFest. The group is a pro-am team called Team Dragon. Sand sculpting novices may take advantage of free lessons on Saturday, March 24, in preparation for the 11th annual SandFest scheduled for Friday through Sunday, March 30-April 1, between beach mile markers 8 and 11.
