Day school seeks volunteer help at pumpkin patch Trinity-by-the-Sea Day School is seeking volunteers to help run a Halloween pumpkin patch event the school is planning. The pumpkin patch will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. The pumpkin patch will be outdoors, next to the day school, which is part of Trinity-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 433 Trojan Drive. The day school will sell pumpkins and apple cider and also will have arts and crafts and story telling for children, said Nana Ward, director of the day school. There will be no charge for the children's activities, but the school will ask for a donation. The Family Center IGA is donating pumpkins for the event, Ward said. Anyone who wants to volunteer by being a story teller, playing a guitar or taking part in the pumpkin patch some other way may contact Ward at 749- 6448 or nanaward@centurytel. net. |
