Practice makes perfect
A kayak instructor and a student make use of some of the shallow water west of Harbor Island to practice kayaking skills. The shallows, including Lighthouse Flats and Brown and Root Flats, have become popular among anglers who like to use the shallowdraft kayaks to get to hard-to-reach fishing areas and among recreational kayakers who simply enjoy the trip.
