Recyclers

Teacher Clare Adams' fourth-grade class poses with a box they decorated to look like a turkey, winning a recent competition to decorate boxes used for recycling paper at H.G. Olsen Elementary School. The school's two fifth-grade classes, taught by Julie Findley and Rhonda Burger, have organized a new recycling program at the school as part of a science project. To promote the new program, fifth graders put on skits about recycling for others and ran the box decorating contest. The winning fourthgrade class got a certificate and ice cream at lunch.
