Crews approach the end of Beach Street nearest Horace Caldwell Pier in a project to repave the street and add sidewalks between Dunes Drive and the beach. The project was paid for largely by the Regional Transportation Authority with matching funds from the City of Port Aransas, and replaces a rough stretch of road leading onto the beach.
