Clifford H. Bonar of Falmouth, Ky., died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, in Fort Thomas, Ky. He was 84 and a World War II United States Navy veteran.

CLIFFORD BONAR B o n a r a n d his wife, Nanci, have owned the Bonar Trailer Court in Port Aransas for more than 35 years, where they spent every winter until he became ill 12 years ago. He enjoyed fishing and golfing while in Port Aransas.

Bonar owned and operated Bonar Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Falmouth, Ky. That business and other properties owned by the Bonars were wiped out in the Ohio River Valley flood of 1997.

Bonar is survived by his wife, Nanci; four daughters, Terri Williams, Darla Kettenacker, Linda Wiese and Bonita Bonar, a 1987 graduate of Port Aransas High School; and six grandsons and one granddaughter. All reside in Kentucky.

Mr. and Mrs. Santos Soto of Gregory were honorary pallbearers.
