Pumpkin patch is Friday, Saturday
Pumpkins, Halloween story-telling and apple cider will be on hand at a pumpkin patch at Trinity-by-the-Sea Day School tomorrow, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 21.
Hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The pumpkin patch, open to the public, will be behind Trinity-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 433 Trojan Dr.
"It's going to be fun," said Nana Ward, director of the day school. "Children can come and pick out a pumpkin with their families, and they can hear some stories, and we'll have people in costume."
Pumpkins will be sold, and children 's activities including arts and crafts will be free, but the non-profit day school will request donations.
Anyone who wants to volunteer by being a story teller, playing a guitar or taking part in the pumpkin patch some other way should contact Ward promptly at 749-6448 or nanaward@centurytel.net.
