Jerry Mac Cowart of Port Aransas died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 in Corpus Christi. He was 63.

Born Oct. 28, 1942, in Amarillo to Delton and Ennis Cowart, he had been a resident of Port Aransas for 18 years. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his brother, Rex Cowart of Marshall; a sister, Patsy Cowart of Bend, Ore.; three nieces and two nephews.

Private family services were held.
