Kellie Owens, 10, left, and Cole Longanecker, 9, traveled to South Padre Island Saturday, Sept. 16, to compete in the Dorado's Bar and Grill Grom Round up. Both Owens and Longanecker competed in the mini-groms division. Longanecker made it to the finals and earned third place in the division. Their coach Brittany Tupaj and Owens mother, Beth, both of Port Aransas attended. The young surfers pose with their medals and Longanecker's trophy.
