      Arthur Toscano of San Antonio, above, and Bill Hoffman of Rockport, below, caught these speckled trout off the south jetty on Saturday, April 19. Toscano's trout weighed nearly five pounds, and Hoffman's was a little over 6.

      A Corpus Christi King High School aquatics science class took a field trip aboard the Scat Cat out of Fisherman's Wharf on Wednesday, April 23. Water turbidity samples and plankton were collected, but physics teacher Capt. Tom Buckner collected this 20-pound blackfin tuna.
